Piano Teaching Manual Contents

Preface

As a piano teacher, I’ve always been learning along the way. No lesson can be exactly replicated. To provide students with the best and most efficient experience, we need to be flexible in our approach at every moment. After years of teaching, I decided to consolidate my insights on various topics and teaching methods. (Note: This book does not cover music theory or techniques but serves as a reference guide for other teachers.) In the first chapter, you’ll find a small quiz to determine if this book can assist you in your teaching journey.

Why did I write this book?First, my students are growing up, and some have started taking on students of their own. I hope this book can serve as a supportive tool for them—a small gift.Second, I've searched for similar resources focused on piano teaching from the perspectives of student psychology, muscle movement, etc., and found nothing quite like this.Lastly, I hope the content in this book will enhance the quality of teaching for its readers and contribute positively to the education community, inspiring teachers to continue striving for a better musical environment for the next generation.
